Just different types of Germans

A Hungarian budget airline is introducing a direct flight from here to Copenhagen.

In Romanian Copenhagen is Copenhaga and The Hague is simply Haga. And in Russian "Dane/Danish man" is "Dutchanin" adding further confusion between all things Dutch and Danish ("He is Danish" will be "On Dutchanin").

Many older people here do not bother with "all those different kinds of Germans" though and to them everyone in the northern half of Europe west of Poland who isn't British or French is "just one of those many types of Germans". Kinda like everyone east of Poland is basically some kind of Russian to some Western Europeans and some Americans.
